the cavs aren't trading for demarcus cousins, right?

i've read on a number of sites, including this one, about how people would like the cavs to trade for DMC. i have to say, i think the chances that deal gets done is pretty much, 0%. i love cousins's game, would love to see him in a cavs uniform, but its not going to happen and here's why

1. the kings would be selling at a time when his value is at an all time low. it would be hard to get back equal value under any circumstances, especially right now

2. the kings are in the "draft picks and young talent" market - kinda like the cavs. the teams that need andy are the more established teams that are looking for 1 more big piece to make them contenders. the kings aren't that, and they have to know that.

3. aren't they trying to sell the franchise? if they're looking to deal at all, it's probably going to be a move that makes they're franchise more valuable now and in the future. One look at the all-star voting tells you that in spite of his production, Andy might not have the sizzle the kings are looking for.

4. andy is not exactly dispelling his "injury-prone" reputation at the moment.

anyway, those are just my thoughts - i saw haberstroh's thing about a trade for brook lopez, i like that one too. a bit more likely than a trade for cousins, but probably very unlikely as well. let me know your thoughts.

thanks
