The Cleveland Cavaliers like playing the Atlanta Hawks for some reason. Wednesday night, the short-handed Cavaliers took down the Hawks by a score of 99-83.
The bad news about Anderson Varejao's injury seems to have energized the Cleveland Cavaliers for a night. After hearing the the NBA's leading rebounding would be out for the season, the Cavs came out and stomped one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. The end result was a 99-83 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
Kyrie Irving led the Cavs with 33 points and Tristan Thompson added 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Josh Smith (who is a beast) led the Atlanta Hawks with 17 points to go along with 8 rebounds, 6 blocks and 4 assists.
Overall, it was a very nice game that ended with a Shaun Livingston to Jeremy Pargo alley-oop. Leave your post-game thoughts, comments, concerns, crazy GIFs, and deepest, darkest secrets here.
