Full disclosure- I don't want to make any trades yet, they're trending up and I personally think they're ahead of schedule.
So, how about trying to trade for Danny Granger? Indiana hasn't had him in over a year and they're doing fine, so give him to us to finish off his 14 million deal. Maybe we resign him for way less than 14 mil, like an incentive laden 4 mil, similar to Bynum. Call it a contingency plan if LeBron fails to return his talents to Cleveland. While he's here we have a competent small forward who is almost the same size as Anthony Bennett if he were in shape, give or take 15 cause Bennett is a big boy.
More importantly, I think AB needs a mentor to show him the ins and outs of the NBA. Tristan had Andy, Andy had Z, lets get someone to bring out AB's best. I'm sure TT is spending a lot of time with him being that they're Canadian and stuff but they're buddies, its not the same relationship. Granger's a great defender who could teach AB how to play at this level, I'm sure Mike Brown would be on board.
Granger has also got playoff experience that this young team lacks. Bynum and Andy have been to the big time before but not in years. Jack, Clark, and Miles have a few games but Granger's 22 have him towards the top.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=l78tsqt with some picks or something, I don't know. I threw Jack in there cause of his missed shots last night and Sloan was cheap. So what do you think? Break it down and bring the stats I don't even know where to find. Go Cavs.
