Why the Cavaliers should Draft Ben McLemore.

The draft is getting closer and closer and for the third year in a row us dismal Cavaliers fans eagerly wait for its arrival. Now there are of course tons of talent in this years draft, a few that catches the eye rather quickly. Those eye catchers would be guys like Alex Len, Nerlens Noel, Ben McLemore, Shabazz Muhammad, Cody Zeller, and a Fear The Sword blog favorite Otto Porter. Now all these guys would definately make an impact on the Cavs "Any new talent would". But there is one guy that would fit the best in Cleveland and in this article I will explain why...

BEN MCLEMORE -

This guy is phenomenal. He has great shooting ability and advanced passing intincts. He stretches the floor with his shooting range and can dunk on about anyone. His shooting percentage from the three point line is a gorgeous 46% and even more beautiful is his FG percentage sitting around 52 %. He is sky rocketing on all mock draft boards and had been showing why throughout the season. This young man has crazy potential. It's more evident as his freshman year progresses..

WHY B-Mac WOULD FIT WELL IN CLEVELAND

Now Its obvious the Cavs are in dire need of a Small Forward. We haven't had much of one since LeBron was here and its a huge void we need to fill quickly. However I believe the Cavs can pick a decent one in the draft later on or find a quality one in free agency. Remember we have a boat load of future picks and and cap space to address this need. Now lets get back on topic. The Cavaliers have had a lack in 2 guard scoring to say the least for awhile now. Our rookie Dion Waiters was projected to take care of that issue but his poor shooting percentage and questionable shot selection night in and night out makes it fair to say he was a reach for the Cavs drafting him last year 4th Overall. I'm not saying he can't get better. But for now and for the next few years I see him 6th man at best for the Cavaliers. Ben Mclemore in my opinion will be a more consistent scorer for the Cavs. He will add more depth to the bench if Coach Scott chooses not to start him right away. His explosive play, and scoring consistency will compliment well to Kyrie's game and for the Cavaliers overall.

There is a chance he may go number one overall. If we don't get the number one pick or if he is taken before the Cavs can pick him I would then pick a SF such as Shabazz or Porter. But if not I would personally pick him with 2 seconds off the Draft clock.. . Feel free to express your opinions guys. But this is what I really would like to see... And thats Mr. McLemore in a Cavaliers Jersey..
