For awhile now I have been saying the Cavs should resign Shaun Livingston as a back up to Irving. I said this before I started doing my research on draft picks and free agents. To my delight, I saw that Nate Robinson was an unrestricted free agent. That changes everything for me.

A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE CAVS!
Robinson has been pretty solid throughout his career but there are some roadblocks. Will Nate come here? He has a history of playing with Playoff teams. The Knicks, the Celtics, the Thunder and now the Bulls with a stop at GS for a year.
I think Robinson would be a perfect back up to Irving. He loves the big shot and he's fearless. You can even have Robinson, Irving and Waiters on the floor at the same time which would give teams problems. Here's a video called Hero put together by a Bulls fan.

Will the Bulls try to keep him with Derrick Rose returning? What will they be willing to pay? Nate is looking for a long term contract after these 1 year contracts. He currently makes 1.146 million a year.
What should we offer Nate?
I say 9-11 million over 3 years. 3 million the 1sr 2 years and I would go up to 5 million that 3rd year if that would be a poison pill for the Bulls.
Time to get busy Cavs!
