#PriceForCavs

After reading this article today and thinking about it for awhile I'm becoming more and more in favor of hiring Mark Price as the next head coach for the Cavs if we are going to go for someone who has not yet been a head coach. While there is certainly a lot of hype around a candadite like Brian Shaw there are unknowns when you hire someone that hasn't been a head coach why not take a chance on Mark Price. Definitely a good read though:

Obviously he would be a great mentor for Kyrie and would be someone the players could look up to and hopefully push them to become as good of a pro as he was. I stated before that one of my concerns was that it appears that it takes a lot to become someone that Dion looks up to and I was wondering if he would be willing to listen to criticism from a coach that has been around for a shorter period of time than he has. If we aren't going to hire a MacMillion, Brown, Jackson or any other established coach this might be a great direction the team could take.

So what do you guys think? Would it be an option that you would be willing to consider? Or does his lack of experience as a head coach in the NBA give you some trepidation?
