Mike Miller was amnestied by the Miami Heat this week. Miller is a 6'8" 210 lbs. small forward who is a 3 point specialist who can defend small forwards reasonably well because of his size. He struggled to find minutes on a loaded Heat team, but his performance did nothing to diminish his value. Even though he only average 15 minutes per game, Miller still shot 40.6% from 3 on an average of 3 attempts per game. The Heat will be paying Miller $6.2 million NOT to play for them this year, so Miller may be willing to sign for a small contract. Miller is 33 and has been injury prone, averaging only 47 games per year over the last three years, but can be a veteran role player and a shooter on this Cavs team, two things this team needs. So, for the right price, do you think the Cavs should sign Miller to a deal like Bynum's (i.e. two years with the second year a team option, although not nearly as much as Bynum)?
