Sign & Trades: Should we get involved?

Dwight Howard's rumored big decision day upon us...which really just means he'll leak which team he wants to play for today (giving them 5 days to swing any trades, if necessary). While his decision more than likely does not impact us, what are your thoughts on the Cavaliers getting involved in some of these S&T deals?

Rumors are he actually likes the idea of going to Golden State, and they are interested (and desperate) to shed salary to make it happen. Barnes, Bogut, Biedrins, and Jefferson are all on the block, but indications are Barnes is only available if you're willing to take some/the rest of their "pu pu platter."

Houston would also like to make some trades to free up space, with Jeremy Lin and Asik often mentioned as potential casualties. Atlanta and Dallas are also in the mix, as well as the Lakers, but all three of those squads are viewed this morning as long-shots.

Whatever team Dwight chooses, getting that team's 1st round pick most likely means a late, non-lottery pick. But, generally speaking...one could argue the more picks (especially in the 2014 draft), the better; and if past drafts are any indication, the Cavaliers front office will at least try to be aggressive in the 2014 draft. This seems like an easy first step to allow that to happen.

Are any of these deals potentially good for Cleveland? Leave your thoughts in the comments and the poll below.
