We all know that the games are won "on the court", and that LeBron simply being on the court makes any team dangerous. That being said, does this Cavs team with Luol Deng now have more talent than the LeBron team that got unceremoniously knocked out of the playoffs by the aging Celts?
I don't have that lineup in front of me, but Mo Williams was shaky at PG and Delonte's season a mess. Boobie was boobie, and that's our backcourt. Antawn was solid but past his prime, JJ not trusted by coach Brown, Big Ben one dimensional, Z on his last leg and supposedly upset about being traded earlier, and Shaq seemed out of place. Anderson the only holdover.
Nobody in that backcourt approaches Kyrie, CJ is streaky but Dion provides energy and Jack adds depth clearly beyond the 2009/2010 team. Even Delly could have helped that team. In the frontcourt, LeBron was THE man, but Deng at least now gives this team a legit SF. I'll take TT over JJ, this version of Andy, though you'd have to take the vet bigs over Tyler.
Obviously the 2009/2010 team knew how to win; playoff tested, played together few years, and expected to win with the MVP. But you can argue that if this team gets an attitude and figures it out, they may actually have more talent that the 2009/2010 Cavs.
