Remember how well the Cavs played last year when Irving went down. Walked out on fan appreciation night. Doesn't play defense. Suspect leadership. Injury history. 0 playoffs. Yet, he deserves a max contract....hmmm.
Because of the Lebron fiasco Cleveland is punchy not to let another star leave. I have been around basketball for 30 years and remember the great Pistons teams built around hard work, chemistry, defense, and toughness. I am 100% positive that Irving needs to be shown the door while his trade value is high. I am ok with signing a long term deal and then trading him. He is not a good fit in Cleveland.
1. Draft Wiggins
2. Get Darren Collison (rock solid point guard)
3. Get Larry Sanders (stud interior presence)
4 out of 5 positions on floor rock solid defenders
