He's Andrew freakin' Wiggins. I've been hearing about this guy for years. Years! And he's only 19! The guy has a 44 inch verticle jump. 44 inches! He can play off the ball and has NBA All-Defense written all over him.
I know the other options are intriguing, and I'm intrigued. I'm hung up on A.W. right now though. I can't imagine him and K.I. not carrying us deep into the playoffs for the next 6-8 years or more. And those two would be so the reason that every unrestricted free agent hitting the open market in the near future will do a double take when looking at the Cavs roster. "You mean I could play with those two All-Stars?!," will be the question every FA asks themselves for the next several years...and maybe more importantly, it's the question every free agent PF or C will be asking.
Give me Wiggins to pair with K.I. and then just explore the market while owning an advantage of talent over almost every other team in the NBA. And be patient with trade talks as acquiring role players becomes less pressing when having two superstars on the roster.
Welcome to Cleveland, Andrew.
