With the Clippers dangling Jamal Crawford and Darren Collison being allowed to walk, I believe they are trying to clear up space for Lebron or Melo and still keep Griffin and Paul. Which is realistic considering all of the players they brought in that can immediately walk in Collison, Davis, Hedo, Hollins, Green, and Granger. Combine that with the ability to trade a Dudley, Bullock and a Reddick and the Clippers are in a favorable situation.
No one seems to notice that they only have nine players on their team right now. I think they are gearing up for a decent run at a LBJ or Melo. (Melo more likely) I'm not sure why people are talking about sign in trades if these players are unrestricted free agents. Maybe the rules and a deadline is causing this but can't Melo just walk to the Clippers scott free? If not I think the Cavs should jump on Deandre Jordan.
Maybe a trade like this:
Clippers get: Deng, Andy V, Jarrett Jack
Cavs get: Reddick and Deandre Jordan
Cavs get Center of future to run crazy Athletic sets with Dion, Kyrie, Wiggins,Bennett and Thompson. Reddick would be the immediate bench player moving Dion to a starting role and an increase in minutes. (Hopefully him and Kyrie can get it together)
I think it's worth thinking about...
