According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst and other media reports, LeBron James has finished his meeting with Miami Heat president Pat Riley and has not made a decision about where he will play next season. The meeting, which according to Windhorst lasted over an hour, took place today in Las Vegas, the site of James' basketball camp.
What comes next is unclear. According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports. James will now talk to his family about his decision. With no decision yet made, it is possible that James' decision isn't made today. And according to ESPN's Chris Broussard, that is indeed the case. If this is true, James' decision, assuming it comes tomorrow, would come on the first day free agents can officially sign contracts with new teams.
To recap, this what we know as of right now: James is out of his meeting with the Heat brass in Las Vegas. He has not yet made a decision. And perhaps most importantly, no one credible is reporting that James has made a decision one way or another.
