FearTheSword gets a bit of a facelift!

You may have noticed, though it is quite possible you did not, that the site was down for a couple of hours this morning for some maintenance and upgrades. That update has been completed and now those upgrades are available.
Here are some of them. We now have new team pagee with links to stories, FanPosts and FanShots from here and other SBN sites about the Cavaliers. On the top of the page there are tabs linking to the schedule, roster and team stat pages.
Each player also has his own individual stat page (this link goes to LeBron James), with complete career stats (yes, I know it looks odd with those leading and trailing zeroes. I've asked about those).
SBN has also contracted with the AP and Getty Images to give us access to licensed game photos from every game. The one included is from Sunday's game with Dallas.
Hope you like these, and also, if you haven't checked it out on your wireless device, we also have a version formatted for those at mobile.fearthesword.com (the tech team is working on ways for you to post comments there).

We interrupt our preperation for the 2008-09 season with an exciting annoucment about FTS. The site is now optimized to be viewed from your mobile phone! This is very exciting since browsing the web via a mobile device is becoming more and more prevalent.
Here is the official annoucement posted on the SBNation Blog --
A couple days ago we quietly released an update that detects if you're visiting one of our blogs on a mobile device and redirects you to a mobile-friendly version of the site. A few folks already found it and sent us some excited notes. We're excited too!
Now your favorite SB Nation blogs should be quick and easy to read while you're riding the metro, walking down the street, or sitting in traffic (we don't condone blogging & driving). Our goal is to provide y'all something that downloads fast and is efficient to scroll through. Presently front page blog posts, comments and FanPosts are all available in this new format. And if you prefer the hi-res experience, you'll find a link to the 'Full Site Version' for all the graphics and widgets.
This is a first step in making all of our blogs more fun to use on your mobile phones and PDAs. We hope you enjoy! There are other mobile features planned in the future. And if you have any trouble browsing our the mobile version of our blogs, please send an email to support@sbnation.com.

Welcome to the latest, greatest reiteration of Fear The Sword, the ultimate community fan site for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Yes, there are many Cavalier blogs, forums and fan sites out there, and in no way am I looking to replace those in your daily search for Cavaliers news and comment. What FTS is going to provide is a place for you, real Cavs fans, to meet, talk, comment in a positive manner about your Cavs.
That's the key. This will be the positive place to talk about your Cavaliers. We won't drink the wine and gold kool-aid all the time, but we aren't going to go out of our way to be negative either. Most of you are probably familiar with the SBNation platform - the Fan Shots, Fan Posts, Game Threads, everything to make life easy for a fan, and if your not, take a look around!
