For the 5th time in his 6 year career, LeBron James will start for the Eastern Conference All-Stars in Phoenix next month. James received over 2.9 million votes, finishing second to Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic.
“The All-Star Game is always so meaningful to me because of the fans,” James said.
While James' star shines bright every night, he seems to raise his game when playing with the best in the world. His 24.3 ppg average in All-Star games is the highest of any player that has started at least 4 games. He is also a 2-time MVP of the game, including last year in New Orleans when James scored 27 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 9 assists in the East's 134-128 win. LeBron took home the award in 2006 as well when the game was played in Houston.
Look for LeBron and the rest of the NBA All-Stars in Phoenix, February 15th.
