Scott agrees to four-year deal to become Cavs' coach

Scott agrees to four year deal

Byron Scott today agreed to a four-year deal to coach the Cleveland Cavaliers.  The timing of this hiring is obviously to give incentive to LeBron James to stay in Cleveland, as Scott brings experience from having coached at two venues in the NBA already, New Jersey and New Orleans.  He also dealt with the pressure of having to cope with the Hornets' situation after Hurricane Katrina when New Orleans was forced to play home games in Oklahoma City.

A great hire for the Cavs.
