Condensed NBA Schedule Structure

With the pending agreement to end the NBA lockout, games are slated to begin on December 25th. The league hopes to squeeze in 66 regular season games before beginning the playoffs. This will obviously be a little more hectic than a normal season due to time constraints. Therefore, the schedule needs to be tweaked a little bit to make it all work. After the jump is the press release from the NBA outlining the format of the revised schedule.

Once the CBA deal is officially ratified, updated schedules will be released by the NBA and we'll get a better sense of what the Cavs' schedule looks like. When that comes out, you'll be able to circle opening night on your calendars and fill up the Q like usual.
