Late game execution doomed the Cleveland Cavaliers as they fell to the Orlando Magic, 108-104.

In their second game without star Kyrie Irving, the Cavaliers put up a good fight, but couldn't get it done. It seems as though the team is definitely improving as the season goes on, but the loss of Irving is devastating.

Anderson Varejao and Tyler Zeller provided strong performances in the front court, although the latter got pushed around by Glen Davis quite a bit. Varejao notched yet another double-double with 19 points and 17 rebounds (11 offensive). Zeller added 13 points and 9 rebounds.

Byron Scott was able to get good performances from his backcourt in Jeremy Pargo and Dion Waiters. Pargo followed up his 28-point explosion against the Sixers with a solid 15 points on 7 of 14 shooting while committing zero turnovers. Waiters also committed zero turnovers as he scored 25 points on 9 of 22 shooting with 5 assists and 3 rebounds.

Somehow, Omri Casspi scored 11 points off the bench.

The Cavs ultimately fell as they were unable to keep the ball away from JJ Redick in the waning moments. They had to foul the Magic to extend the game and putting Redick on the line is basically a guaranteed two points.

Jameer Nelson led Orlando with 22 points and Arrion Afflalo poured in 19 points.
