Cleveland Cavaliers Final Score: Cavs Shock Clippers, 108-101

The Cleveland Cavaliers got back to .500 on Monday night by taking down the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 108-101.

The Cleveland Cavaliers shocked the Los Angeles Clippers Monday night by a final score of 108-101. Kyrie Irving got his first taste of playing against the best point guard in the NBA and did not back away from the challenge. After dropping 16 points in the first quarter, Irving finished with 24 points and 10 assists.

Dion Waiters broke out in a huge way, hitting a ridiculous array of three pointers to pour in 28 points. Waiters made 7 of his 10 three point attempts. The Cavaliers backcourt combined for 52 points, while their ages combined comes out to just 40. I think we saw a glimpse of the future tonight.

Tyler Zeller and Anderson Varejao had incredibly strong games, both scoring 15 points and doing solid work on the boards. The key to the game was probably the fact that Cleveland doubled up Los Angeles on the offensive boards, 18 to 9.
