You all remember J.J. Hickson, right? The Cavaliers traded Hickson for Omri Casspi and a conditional first round pick. Less than a year later, the Sacramento Kings negotiated a buyout with the 23-year old power forward and he is now a free agent.
It makes sense that teams like the Boston Celtics or Miami Heat would make an offer for Hickson. I just really hope that the Cavaliers don't get crazy and try to bring him back. He made some comments earlier this year that he had wanted to stay in Cleveland, but don't count on it. Hickson is a really terrible player, for the most part. I don't want any part of him, even though we DO have a gaping hole in the paint.
Weird to see that he's fallen so far, so fast. Best of luck to The Hickson.
