General manager Chris Grant announced on Monday morning that guard Manny Harris has been extended a second 10-day contract. Harris played a whopping 6 seconds during his first 10-day stint with the team.
The Cavaliers were apparently so impressed during those 6 seconds, that they were willing to keep him in Cleveland instead of sending him back to the Canton Charge.
I'm not 100% sure what the Cavs are doing with this. Are they going to play him? Are they just going to let him hang out and practice with the team? Regardless, Manny is staying with the Cavs for 10 more days and HARRISTERIA still has a chance.
Prior to being signed by the Cavs, Harris played in 17 games (12 starts) this season with the Canton Charge, the Cavaliers exclusively owned and operated NBA Development League team. Harris averaged 21.4 points on .470 shooting with 7.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 32.9 minutes per game with Canton.
