The Cleveland Cavaliers officially signed Lester Hudson to a second 10-day contract today. Hudson could have been signed for the rest of the season but the Cavs want to remain flexible for when Kyrie Irving, Daniel Gibson and Anthony Parker return from their injuries.

Hudson has scored 49 points in the past two games in Toronto and New Jersey and has become a Fear the Sword favorite of late.

Hudson, from Tennesse-Martin, likely will be signed to a contract for the rest of the season after this contract ends.

The signing of Hudson has been yet another shrewd pickup from the D-League by Cavs GM Chris Grant.
