The Cavaliers were fashionably late in announcing their Summer League roster, but at last it is here. According to the Cavs official website, the Cavs have put together 14 players to take part in their 5 Summer League games.

You'll notice that most of the veterans are not playing this summer. Anderson Varejao is playing for the Brazilian Olympic team and Boobie Gibson is a seasoned vet. Fortunately for us (and unfortunately for all other teams), Kyrie Irving will be playing and will be an absolute nightmare for everyone else. We'll also get our first looks at Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller.
Kevin Jones, a forward out of West Virginia, was signed by the Cavs but will be sitting out Summer League with an injury. You'll recognize some names like Donald Sloan and DJ Kennedy after they finished last season with Cleveland. Justin Holiday is the older brother of Philadelphia 76ers guard, Jrue Holiday -- he's got some talent.
The Cavs website also indicates that four of the Cavs five Summer League games will be televised LIVE on NBATV. The other one will be on NBATV at some point, but just on a delay.
The Cavaliers first game is Sunday, July 15th against Charlotte at 5:30 Pacific time. I'll be there -- it's gonna be awesome.
