Harristeria is dead. The Cavaliers announced on Monday afternoon the decision to waive the 22-year old guard.
Harris spent two seasons bouncing between the D-League and Cleveland before being released this off-season. He received sporadic playing time with the Cavs and posted averages of 6.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game during his time in Cleveland.
Harris, 22, averaged 6.7 points on .400 shooting, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 17.5 minutes per game in 26 games (five starts) during the 2011-12 season and has career averages of 6.2 points on .383 shooting, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 17.3 minutes per game in 80 games (20 starts).
The Cavaliers recently drafting a shooting guard in Dion Waiters and will presumably try to add another veteran guard in free agency.
