The Cavaliers laid an egg against the Atlanta Hawks last night. Will they show up against the Clippers tonight?
Who? Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Clippers
When? 7:30 PM Eastern
Where? Quicken Loans Arena -- Cleveland, OH
Where on my eyeballs? Fox Sports Ohio / NBA League Pass
Music?
What's wrong with Kyrie Irving? He played terribly against the Atlanta Hawks and scored 0 points. Now, he has a big time matchup against Chris Paul at home. Do we think that the awesome opponent will bring out the best in Kyrie? Is it just a matter of being at home instead of on the road? It's not that he's been bad all season, he just isn't at the same level that we're used to. Maybe he'll be better tonight.
Dion Waiters has been on a tear lately. It still feels like Dion and Kyrie never play well in the same game. Why? I have no clue. But that's how it works. Will tonight change that? I dunno.
This game will be happening at the same time as Ohio State vs. Michigan State, so I don't think many people will be watching this. Therefore, I'm not going to spend much time previewing it.
If you do happen to watch this game, I hope you enjoy Chris Paul. He's truly a joy to watch and the way that he sees the game is just ridiculous. Blake Griffin is awesome as well. The Clippers are one of my favorite teams to watch. Of course, I hope they lose by 30 tonight.
Fear the Sword's Fearless Prediction:
The Cavaliers have been decent at home this year. I think they'll play better than they did last night, but it won't be enough to pull off the upset. Clippers win 98-89.
