Cavaliers vs. Spurs Final Score: Cavs slip up at buzzer, lose 96-95

The Cavaliers came oh-so-close, but couldn't quite seal the deal for a win against one of the NBA's best teams.

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

Dion Waiters hit a huge shot to put the Cavaliers up by two points with under 10 seconds to play. Then, he decided to play no defense whatsoever and left Kawhi Leonard. The result was a go-ahead three pointer.

Kyrie Irving had 2.9 seconds to make something happen, but slipped and couldn't get a good shot off. Kyrie had an absolutely brutal night in general.

The Cavaliers played quite well, but not well enough to beat the Spurs. It's a tough pill to swallow and surely not the way that the Cavs wanted to enter the All Star break.
