An exciting upset win against the Oklahoma City Thunder could easily lead to a letdown game against the Charlotte Bobcats, right? Well that wasn't the case for the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
The Cavs came out with energy and focus and dominated Charlotte from start to finish en route to a 122-95 victory at the Q. Here's what Byron Scott and Tristan Thompson said after the resounding win.
"So that means, ‘Guys we've got to come out and bury these guys.' I told our guys that you've got to think that same way. Don't think about we are up 24 at halftime. Think about being down 24. You've got to come out with that same aggressiveness to try and put this team away and I thought our guys did that."
"We wanted to show growth. Coach Scott challenged us. We had a big win against Oklahoma City and he told us simply that if we don't win tonight, we could scratch that win against Oklahoma City. We wanted to come out and really lay the hammer down."
