I'm going to let you guys analyze this one how you want. And I know that this post is going to give David a headache, but I have to do it.
Before the game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat, Dan Gilbert tweeted about the future. He mentioned the Cavs' bright young future as well as the future of LeBron James. I may be wrong but I think this is the first time that he has acknowledged LeBron by name since The Decision. At the very least, it's the first time that he has tweeted LeBron's name.
It's the media and Twitter's job to make jokes and try to figure out what he meant. Since most people outside of Cleveland really dislike Gilbert, they assume he's being incredibly cynical and just trying to lure LeBron back to Cleveland. It's also possible that he's just trying to get his fan base to move on. Feel free to think whatever you want.
Cleveland Cavaliers young talent makes our future very bright. Clearly, LeBron's is as well. Time for everyone to focus on the road ahead.

For bonus points/sadness, go ahead and look at Gilbert's mentions on his Twitter account. It's kind of surprising to me that so many people still think he's a terrible person because of how he dealt with LeBron James leaving. He's said that it was a mistake and that he didn't deal with it in the best way that he could have. But people don't quickly forget and until the Cavs have basketball success, he's going to be the punchline of a lot of jokes.
