Chad Ford: Cleveland Cavaliers select Otto Porter in Mock Draft 1.0

I preface this by saying that there isn't a whole lot of reason to care about mock drafts until after the NBA Draft Lottery. This is NOT the actual draft order and a lot can change before then. However, it's still fun to think about and ESPN's Chad Ford is a pretty smart dude. He's very plugged into the league and this isn't just his opinion based on his own scouting. This is an educated guess based on information that he has gathered from sources within the league. Of course he uses his own judgment as well. I'm basically saying that this is better than me or you just making random guesses based off of the three games and 2 highlight packages that we saw that one time.

So who does Chad Ford have the Cavaliers drafting?

With the 4th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select...

Otto Porter, Georgetown

Keeping in mind that there's no guarantee the Cavs actually draft 4th, here's what Ford says about the selection.

"...Their biggest hole is at the 3, and Porter looks like the perfect complementary piece. He's a jack of all trades, doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective and is a team player. I can't think of a better fit for Porter or the Cavs."
