NBA Mock Draft 2013: Cavaliers draft Sergey Karasev in Chad Ford's newest mock draft

The NBA Draft is fast approaching. Here's who Chad Ford has the Cavs drafting in his newest version of the mock draft.

USA TODAY Sports

Chad Ford of ESPN.com seemingly publishes a billion NBA Mock Drafts before the actual draft rolls around. He's currently on version 4.0 and there are a few slight changes. There is not, however, a change at the very top of the draft.

1. Cleveland Cavaliers select Nerlens Noel

Here's part of what Ford says about the Cavs selecting Noel:

"Typically, by this juncture in the draft, we know who the No. 1 pick is. Right now, however, we're just offering educated guesses. That's because Cavs sources say that the team won't be close to making a decision until workouts are done and the team has a chance to make a thorough pass through the medical information. With three potential top picks unable to work out because of injuries, those reports have never been more important."

19. Cleveland Cavaliers select Sergey Karasev

Here's what Ford says about this pick.

"He has the size to play both wing positions, is a terrific shooter, has a high basketball IQ, and at 19, already has significant professional experience averaging 18.4 PPG in the Russian League. A few scouts compare him to smaller version of Toni Kukoc. Karasev could go as high at No. 9 to the Wolves but would be a great get here by the Cavs."

Be sure to check out the rest of the mock draft at ESPN.com and stay tuned for more updates from Ford as the NBA Draft gets a bit closer.
