NBA Summer League: Cavaliers playing Thursday at 4 PM against Spurs

The Cleveland Cavaliers will play their next Summer League game on Thursday.

USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Cavaliers have gone 2-1 in their first three Summer League games. What does that mean for their Summer League playoffs hopes? (Did I seriously just write that sentence?) It means that the Cavs are the #7 seed in the Tournament of Champions and will play their next game against the San Antonio Spurs. This game will take place on Thursday, July 18th at 4 PM Eastern. The game will be played in the Cox Pavilion and will likely be televised on NBATV.

The Cavaliers will play a minimum of 2 more games, with the possibility of playing 4 more games if they keep winning. I have to believe that nobody wants to win the remainder of their games. Even though you probably get a sweet hat for winning the championship, you also have to spend more time in Las Vegas. I think there's a pretty good chance that we see some Summer League tanking. That could mean that Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller do not play in future games.

Regardless of who's playing, we'll be watching. Cavs vs. Spurs. 4 PM Eastern on Thursday.
