NBA Free Agency: Reports: No Andrew Bynum decision coming tonight, will meet with Mavericks tomorrow

Andrew Bynum remains unsigned, with no decision forthcoming, per Jason Lloyd.

Andrew Bynum watch rolls on, as the one-time former Lakers star continues to weigh his options on which team will employ him next. Despite indications that his decision may come as early as today, that does not appear to be on the docket.

According to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal, there is no timetable on when a decision may come:

Andrew Bynum will not make a decision tonight and will visit Dallas tomorrow as planned, his agent, David Lee, told the Akron Beacon Journal on Tuesday.

Bynum concluded his visit with the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. Asked if a decision was expected this evening, Lee said, "Not that I'm aware of."

Asked when a decision could be forthcoming, Lee was vague and said it could be this week, but he couldn't say for sure.

It makes sense that the decision isn't happening today. He might as well go to Dallas and see what they can offer him. If healthy he would be a solid fit next to Dirk Nowitzki.

Fox Sports Ohio journalist Sam Amico also shed light on the situation:

If this is true, the Cavaliers aren't in any hurry to move on or withdraw their offer to Bynum. They seem to have as good of a shot as any team to bring in Bynum at this point.

One thing I would stress is that while Bynum is a great player when healthy, we have no reason to believe he is or will be. I wouldn't stress out about this. If he comes, alright. If he doesn't I don't think it means much in terms of wins and losses next season. Amico also tweeted that Bynum's knee apparently looks alright in the "medicals" his team is supplying the Cavs and other teams, but he still isn't working out for the Cavaliers front office.

So hang tight Cavs fans, because Bynum appears to be in no rush to commit to a team.
