NBA Draft 2013: Cleveland Cavaliers officially sign Anthony Bennett and other draft picks

The Cavaliers have finally signed their draft picks to new rookie deals. Anthony Bennett, Sergey Karasev, and Carrick Felix are all officially Cavaliers.

USA TODAY Sports

It seems like a while ago that the Cavaliers shocked everybody with the number one pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by selecting Anthony Bennett. This late in the offseason, it's probably pretty easy to forget about Carrick Felix and Sergey Karasev as well. This serves as a reminder that the Cavs' three biggest moves of the offseason may have come through the draft. The three newest Cavaliers are now official. Finally. Bennett, Karasev, and Felix have all signed their rookie contracts, according to the team.

The Cleveland Cavaliers announced today that the team has signed all of their 2013 NBA Draft picks, Anthony Bennett, Sergey Karasev and Carrick Felix to contracts. Per league and team policy, terms of the contracts were not released.

Anthony Bennett was introduced as wearing #12, but he has now decided to change that to the number he wore in college, #15. Carrick Felix will wear #30. Sergey Karasev will wear #10.

All of the first round rookie contracts are slotted, so there's no negotiating going on. Bennett is estimated to make roughly $4.4 million in his rookie season. Karasev will make roughly $1.2 million. Each of the contracts for the first round picks are two year deals with team options on the third and fourth years.

Carrick Felix reportedly signed a 4 year deal for a little more than the league minimum.
