UPDATED: Kevin Love will play through flu-like symptoms

Kevin Love is suffering from flu-like symptoms, but will give it a go.

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love is a game-time decision tonight vs. the Atlanta Hawks due to flu-like symptoms the team announced today. According to Chris Haynes of the Northeast Ohio Media Group, Love did not practice in today's shoot around but did practice with the team yesterday. He also played in Monday's win vs. the Charlotte Hornets, scoring 22 points on 7-14 shooting. Love also had a season-high 18 rebounds against Charlotte.

Love has not missed a game this season. In 23 games, Love is averaging 17.8 points. 10.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 44.6 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from 3-point range. Tristan Thompson would likely start at power forward if Love is unable to play. It also means that Brendan Haywood and/or Lou Amundson would see the floor against the Hawks.

The last a time the Cavs played the Hawks, Love scored 13 points and pulled down six rebounds in a 33-point Cavs win.

UPDATE: David Blatt says Kevin Love will give it a go.
