Kevin Love left tonight's game in the third quarter due to an apparent injury to his shooting hand.

The injury appeared to have occurred when he got his thumb caught in the jersey of Timberwolves center Gorgui Dieng. Love had apparently been dealing with some discomfort with his shooting hand recently and it's possible that the play re-aggravated the injury.
Love was able to return to the game after getting his hand taped up. The news doesn't appear to be as good for Anderson Varejao who fell victim to a gruesome leg injury and was taken off the court.

Given Varejao's injury history, it's never a good sign to see him go down. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, but it doesn't look good at the moment. He will be reevaluated tomorrow.
