The Cleveland Cavaliers will look to get their second win in a row this afternoon when they host the lowly Detroit Pistons. Hopefully it will be just the remedy Cleveland sports fans need after today's Connor Shaw experience.
Who: Pistons (6-23) at Cavs (18-11)
When: 4:30 pm Eastern
Where: Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, Ohio
Television: Fox Sports Ohio
Since releasing Josh Smith on Monday, the Pistons have only played once. They beat the Pacers on Friday. Kyle Singler started for them at small forward.
The Cavs, of course, beat the Magic on Friday, and Kevin Love sat out the entire fourth quarter. I imagine he'll play a little bit more today.
I would also imagine that Tristan Thompson will continue to get a lot of minutes in the absence of Anderson Varejao. He played a season-high 40 minutes in the game in Orlando.
After this game this afternoon, the Cavs will have a showdown with the Hawks in Atlanta on Tuesday.
