NBA Draft Lottery 2014 Open Thread!

The NBA Draft Lottery is today and that is exciting. It means that we'll finally find out exactly where the Cleveland Cavaliers will pick in this June's 2014 NBA Draft. The coverage starts at 8 PM, but feel free to miss the first 10 minutes or so. The important stuff will come between 8:15 and 8:30 PM Eastern.

As you know, the Cavs picked 1st last year when they had the 3rd best odds to win the lottery.

The year before that, the Cavs picked 4th.

The year before that, their own pick ended up 4th while the Clippers' pick jumped from 8th to 1st.

Tonight, the Cavs have the 9th best odds to win the draft lottery. That means there's 1.7% chance that they are picking first overall. There's a 6.1% chance that they're picking in the top 3. There's over an 80% chance that this night means nothing and they're just picking 9th overall.
