The Cavs recent draft luck looks better and better.
Super prospects Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins both put together some great workouts over the weekend, and that included some measurements as well.

The other name frequently mentioned in the top 3, Duke's Jabari Parker, was also measured.

In general, Embiid's measurements are insane. Only Rudy Gobert and Javale McGee have topped the standing reach that Embiid boasts. For his position, Wiggins coming in at close to 6'9 with a 7 foot wingspan combined with his athleticism is incredible. Parker's measurements closely resemble that of last year's #1 pick, Anthony Bennett, who stands 6'8 with a 7'1 wingspan.
As I have said since the beginning, I am a Wiggins guy. I don't think you can go wrong between him and Embiid if Embiid is healthy, I just prefer ridiculously athletic wing players. Especially those that can create a size/Athleticism advantage that few people in the world can match. For his part, Embiid would pose the same exact mismatch at center. As someone known for obsessing about wingspan, this just makes me love Wiggins and Embiid even more.
The draft can't get here fast enough.
Tiny Coaching Search Update
Reported by several locations, the Cavaliers will soon be bringing in two of the many names they're sure to interview for their open head coaching position. Tyronn Lue, currently an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Clippers, and Vinnie Del Negro, a former head coach of the same team will be interviewing soon. Lue is a coach I'm fond of, so I am happy to see him getting looked at.
