Jabari Parker had a sensational freshman season at Duke University and is a legitimate candidate to be the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. But leading up to the draft, there have been some rumblings that Jabari Parker would prefer to play for the Milwaukee Bucks than the Cleveland Cavaliers. Milwaukee is closer to his hometown of Chicago and...that's pretty much the only reason I can think of that he'd want to play for the Bucks and not the Cavs.
Regardless, it's extremely odd that Parker thinks he will be the #2 pick. Or rather, it's extremely odd that he openly said so. Sometimes these players get indications from the teams that they've interviewed for and worked out for, so maybe this is legitimate information about what the Cavs are thinking. But then again, Anthony Bennett was drafted #1 last year and had absolutely no idea.
The draft is a little over 24 hours away and there's still no real indication about who the Cavaliers are going to take with the top pick. Most people figure that the decision will come down to either Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins. The only way to find out is to wait until Thursday night.
