Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports threw cold water on the notion that the Cavalier and Magic were coming close to completing a trade involving the first overall pick.
Cleveland and Orlando nowhere on a possible deal for the No. 1 pick, team sources tell Yahoo Sports. "Total bullshit," one executive says.

The deal reportedly would involve the 4th and 12th picks along with Arron Afflalo coming to the Cavaliers. It sounds like decent value, but for the fact that Afflalo can opt out of his contract next summer and become a free agent. That might be more of a risk than the Cavaliers are willing to take.
Cleveland and Orlando have exchanged proposals on No. 1 pick, but there's nothing that's gathered traction, sources tell Yahoo.

ESPN's Chad Ford had reported earlier in the day that the Cavaliers had been calling around the league gauging the value of the 4th and 12th picks for subsequent trades. It's going to be a long, fun day.
