Kyrie Irving named to the 2014 USA National Basketball Team Training Camp

The training camp roster has been announced and Kyrie Irving has once again made the cut.

Team USA Basketball has announced it's 19 man training camp roster, and Kyrie Irving has made the cut. This will be the third consequtive summer that Kyrie Irving has been invited to the USA training camp. Irving will compete against the other invitees for a spot on the final roster which will be decided between the 2nd and 13th of August.

Other members of the roster include:

Bradley Beal; DeMarcus Cousins; Stephen Curry; Anthony Davis; Andre Drummond; Kevin Durant ; Kenneth Faried; Paul George; Blake Griffin; James Harden; Gordon Hayward; Kyle Korver; Damian Lillard; Kevin Love; Derrick Rose; and Klay Thompson.

The team will conduct the Blue and White scrimmage on August 1st, followed by the team selection period and a two day training camp August 14th and 15th. The finalists will then play an exhibition game August 16th against Brazil in Chicago.

The 2014 World Cup of Basketball will start on August 30th with Team USA facing against Finland. The competition will feature 24 nations competing between August 30th and September 14th in Spain.
