Cleveland Cavaliers Trade: Cavs trade Carrick Felix, 2nd round pick to Utah Jazz for non-guaranteed contracts; Kevin Love coming soon?

The Cavs are making minor deals that can clear cap space for them, or someone else.

Carrick Felix, a second year guard out of Arizona State is head to Utah, reports Yahoo Sports:

Felix, whose deal is fully guaranteed, will be replaced by three players who are the exact opposite. John Lucas, Erik Murphy, and Malcom Thomas can all be cut at no cost to the Cavaliers, or a team that ends up with them via trade, which is the most likely outcome. Felix spent just one injury-plagued season with the Cavs, never really making any kind of impact. He played in 7 games, averaging 2.7 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.6 assists.

Obviously, this only increases speculation that a Kevin Love trade is close to completion.
