The Cavaliers have officially hired Larry Drew, and announced their final coaching staff for the 2014-15 season.
Tyronn Lue -- whom the Cavs made some waves with hiring as Lead Assistant shortly after he lost out on the head coaching position -- will be joined by Jim Boylan, Larry Drew, Bret Brielmaier, and former Cavs killer James Posey as assistants.
Boylan and Brielmaier are returning from last year's staff under former coach Mike Brown. Posey, the noted Cavs killer, spent last season as an assistant with the Cavaliers D-League affiliate Canton Charge.
Drew was somewhat famously the incumbent coach of the Milwaukee Bucks until just after the NBA draft when the team decided to bring on Jason Kidd instead.
On the Player Development side, Phil Handy has been tabbed as Director of Player Development and Vitaly Potapenko Assistant Director of Player Development. Both had similar roles last season with the Cavs.
Like last year there is a ton of experience on the staff. Hopefully UNLIKE last year we don't hear about there being too many different voices pulling players in opposite directions.
