The Cleveland Cavaliers figure to have a couple open roster spots when the season kicks off in 10 days, and they are still searching for just who the right fits are. Added to the fold today: Notre Dame product Jack Cooley. The 6'9 power forward averaged nearly 17 points and 13 rebounds per game last season in the Developmental League, and spent some time with the Utah Jazz.
Per @ShamsCharania, #Cavs are bringing in Jack Cooley for camp. I'm told the team will waive Chris Johnson.

The Cavs have a lot of uncertainty in the front court. Timo Mozgov is not healthy, Sasha Kaun has never played in the NBA, Kevin Love is working back from injury, and Anderson Varejao is coming off a devastating achilles tear. Tristan Thompson is not under contract. So there might be a window where a big could come in and make a difference. Time will tell if Cooley is that player.
