In a move that makes all the sense in the world, Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James will play in Wednesday night's preseason contest vs. the Atlanta Hawks, but will sit a night later when the Cavs take on the Philadelphia 76ers. The Cavs are playing the Hawks in Cincinnati as 'home' game and will travel to Philadelphia to play the 76ers.
LeBron hinted at this Sunday when speaking to the media, about Cavs coach David Blatt confirmed that LeBron would play Wednesday and sit Thursday.
Via Joe Vardon of the Northeast Ohio Media Group:
LeBron said it would make "more sense" for him to play in preseason opener in Cincy and sit the next night in Philly

As LeBron said last night, he's gonna play in Cincy and probably not in Philly Thursday -- per Blatt

LeBron's schedule for the rest of the preseason isn't clear, but it wouldn't be shocking to see him rest several times during the preseason. There just aren't that many reasons for LeBron to play during the preseason.
