The Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly signed another player to compete for a roster spot.

According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports, guard Dionte Christmas has signed with the Cavs and will take his physical tomorrow. The deal is non-guaranteed and is just for training camp. Chris Haynes of the Northeast Ohio Media Group subsequently confirmed the deal. According to Haynes, the Cavs will waive Mike Dunigan to create a roster spot for Christmas.

Christmas, 29, played in college at Temple University and has played just part of year in the NBA. In 2013-14, he played 31 games with the Phoenix Suns and played just 6.4 minutes per game. Last September, he spent training camp with the New Orleans Pelicans before being waived. He also has played for the Suns, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings in summer league play.

Overseas, Christmas has played for Hapoel Afula in Israel, Rethynmo Aegean and P.A.O.K. in Greece, CSKA Moscow in Russia, Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi in Turkey, ČEZ Nymburk in the Czech Republic, Montepaschi Siena in Italy, and most recently, he spent a season with Paris-Levallois in France.
