The NBA announced today that Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt has been named Eastern Conference Coach of the Month for October/November. In that span, the Cavs have gotten out to a 13-4 record and went 9-0 at home. Cleveland also went 6-2 against teams above .500 in the season's opening stretch.
Blatt was recognized in a press release and a tweet from the Cavs:

This is the second time that Blatt has won a coach of the month award. He first won the award in March 2015,
Per the NBA, the other nominees for the Eastern Conference award included Hornets coach Steve Clifford, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra and Raptors coach Dwane Casey. Golden State Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton won the award in the Western Conference.
