Cleveland Cavaliers forward Shawn Marion has been noticeably absent from David Blatt's rotation of late and recently attributed his attributed his absence in due part to a hip injury. Today, Marion's condition was updated.
According to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal, Marion will miss two weeks with a left hip strain. An MRI revealed the injury. ESPN's Dave McMenamin later confirmed Lloyd's reporting.

Marion, who is retiring at the end of the season, has seen limited action since the Cavaliers acquired J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert, started at shooting guard earlier this season. He is averaging 4.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game this season.
