The Cleveland Cavaliers have known for a day now that their first round opponent would be the Boston Celtics. Now the Cavs know when they'll play Boston.
Cleveland, the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, and Boston, the No. 7 seed in the East, begin their first round series on Sunday, April 19 in Cleveland. Tipoff for Game 1 is at 3 p.m. and the game will air on ABC. Game 2 tips off at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 in Cleveland and will air on TNT.
Games 3 and 4 see the series shift to Boston. Game 3 takes place on Thursday, April 23 and tips off at 7 p.m. on TNT, while Game 4 takes place on Sunday, April 26 and tips off at 1 p.m. on ABC.
Game 5, if the series goes that far, would be played on Tuesday, April 28 and take place in Cleveland. A potential Game 6 would take place in Boston on Thursday, April 30 and a potential Game 7 would take place on Saturday, May 2 in Cleveland. Start times and TV information for Games 5, 6 and 7 would be determined when they are officially needed. All times are Eastern.
