With just seven games left to play, the Cleveland Cavaliers are nearing the already official return to the postseason. And tonight, Cleveland plays a team it may see in the first round of the playoffs.
If the season ended today, the Cavaliers and Heat would play in a first round series. It isn't guaranteed quite yet that these two teams will play one another - Miami is just 2.5 back of the Milwaukee Bucks for the sixth seed while also being just half a game ahead of eighth seed Brooklyn and the Cavs are just 2.5 games up on the third seed Chicago Bulls - but it's a very plausible scenario

One key aspect of this game is that the Cavs come into this game with three days rest. With Kevin Love battling some back issues and the Cavs having played 15 games in March, it's an optimal time to get some time off before the playoffs.
It's also important to note that when the Cavs last played the Heat - and were blown out in Miami - Cleveland had played the night before in tough game vs. the Orlando Magic. The Heat also happened to come in on three days rest and the Cavs looked lethargic for the entire game. Heading into tonight, the Heat are banged and while not on a back to back, Miami has played every other day since last Wednesday.
I'll take the Cavs 101, Miami 92.
